3 Must-Have Summer Wellness Tips

It’s almost summertime in Lexington Park! The new season is a great time work on your fitness whether it’s swimming laps in the pool, going for a bike ride, or practicing yoga outside. Wellness is extremely important to us at Abberly Crest so we put together three must-have summer wellness tips. Check them out:

Indoor Workouts: As temperatures climb higher and higher, indoor workouts can be more practical. Luckily, Abberly Crest has not one, not two, but three huge fitness centers right in the community! The fitness center features advanced cardio, free weights, and tons of additional exercise equipment. You can forget about paying for a gym with inconvenient hours! 

Protect Your Skin: If you’re heading outside, grab a hat to keep your head cool and the sun off your face. Make sure to lather up with sunscreen! Using a sunscreen that’s at least SPF 45 and reapplying every two hours will keep your skin from burning.

Outdoor Workouts:  Outdoor fitness is still enjoyable in the summer! Try scheduling your outdoor activities outside of 10 am to 5 pm, when temperatures are at their highest. You’ll find cooler temperatures during the early morning and closer to sunset. Once you’re finished with your outdoor activities, cool off in one of our two invigorating pools!
